Active Band-Pass Filter Project
This course and the project is considered to the most important course for an electrical engineer as it teaches the basics of electronics. This project involved designing and implementing an Active Band-pass filter using some basic electronic components such as operational amplifier, resistors and capacitors.
A filter in electronics is anything that allows only certain frequency noises to pass through. There was some specific design considerations given to me to follow which gave me the basic of the design with also room to improve with addition of my own design.
For the purposes of this project, I had to design a band-pass filter which would only allow frequencies between a particular range. Along with filtering the noises, I was also required to amplify the filtered noise using an amplifier. the results of the overall working circuit was observed and recorded using an oscilloscope.
